Who won E3 this year?

Posted by VicHD - June 16th, 2013

Personally the winner at E3 this year looks like it's Playstation, with Nintendo close behind. Xbox really messed things up with the whole used games fee. Xbox one looks like it's a DirecTV with HD Games in it. Xbox and PS 4 have no backward compatibility with their previous consoles (though the Wii u is) and that might be a slight technicality for them.

Still, there are a lot of games to look forward to:
Wonderful101
Kingdom Hearts 3
Final Fantasy XV
another Halo Game
Another FIFA Game
Mario 3D worlds
Super Smash bros.
LoZ: A Link between Worlds

Just to name a few. so what does everyone think of E3 this year?

I actually though E3 as a whole was pretty disappointing.

I will no doubt buy a PS4 but I only will do so for KH3 and FF XV. Aside from that nothing else really interested me.

Nintendo didn't produce anything amazing but they showed enough to keep their hardcore fans hooked.

Microsoft proceeded to kill their franchise whilst simultaneously lose followers to Sony, I mean they must have been smoking some major drugs over in Microsoft to come up with some of their ideas.

All in all it was pretty dull I thought...if anyone won it was PC. Because fuck console gaming.

Microsoft pretty much gave themselves a hot carl.

Idk i think that playstation lost its only two arguments it now costs 5 dollars a month X that by 12 months and you have 60$ Live is 50$ if you buy a year so thats 1 argument gone and now that kingdom hearts 3 (after 8 years i might add) is finally being released not as an exclusive but for both consoles any reason for my ps4 hunting has bitten the dust I'm going to go xbox 1 all the way and go with Sunset overdrive, watch dogs, project spark, kingdom hearts 3 and a few other Choice games plus i can't wait for pikmin 3, the new mario and zelda games and the new smash bros for 3ds and Wii u so im pretty much set with all that Playstation can't buy me love but nintendo and microsoft are pretty close. <3

Cranky Kong: E3 winner? My beard! Kids these days are getting hypnotized and spoiled rotten by these newfangled games with headache-inducing 3-D graphics and ear-bleeding surround sound while not even experiencing a minute worth of great gameplay! What's with these rabid first person shooters? What are Halo and Bioshock about anyways? They don't test accuracy, just trigger finger twitchiness! The kids who play them couldn't get past the first few levels of Duck dastardly dog will laugh at them until the Kremlings go home!

The sports titles are no better either! There are so many buttons to press, kids will get arthritis by the time they hit fifty, fifteen! I could probably mow the field with them in Bases Loaded and Tecmo Bowl, not to mention shave the ice with them in Ice Hockey! They would have to put up some mercy rule when I beat down the poor whippersnappers.

So what's the point of buying a newfangled system when no great games are around? Play DVDs or those Blu-Ray Discs? Bah! Back in my day, we bought video game consoles to play video games! Great ones, too. This year's E3 is so disappointing I ALMOST wish Sega still had a console to teach the others, especially these newbies Sony, Microsoft, Apple, Google, and Facebook how to make real video game consoles playing real video some "mega microgame" on a real game play. Almost, I said.

I couldn't make it into E3, but I am sticking with Nintendo all the way through. I am happy that KH3 is gonna be made, but I'm planning to get a Wii U and not a PS4, although if it's only for PS4, I'll consider it.

I am SO hyped for SSB4 for one reason only: Mega Man! Finally, one of my favorite heroes is in the world of Smash. I'm so looking forward to that.

Zelda is another thing I'm looking forward to and Mario too. Although, I would prefer one in the style of SM64 where you have to collect stars. Eh, maybe later. I might get it, though.

I don't know you guys, but I'm taking Final Fantasy with me. And maybe Kingdom Hearts as well.

i'm probably going with most of the games except for halo and FIFA
other than that there is a game coming exclusively to the PS3 and it's called Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star battle.
if you wanna know about the game or its series i can send both links but in order to know the characters you are gonna play there you would have to see the animated version to jojo's bizarre adventure or read the manga cause not all of it has been animated yet (and there are 8 parts, if you plan to search it up write in the part # after typing in the name of the manga .
oh yeah this is a fighting game, they are still adding characters and the game is coming out 8/29 this year. i really suggest looking at it (fun fact: lots of things in japan were influenced by this series!)

I've always been a huge Nintendo fan, myself. It has always been ahead of the game when it comes to gameplay, being the first company to have motion control, pointing, and touch screens, and the Wii U has all of these. Sure, their consoles are behind with the hardware capabilities and have far fewer teen and mature games, but as far as I'm concerned, Nintendo games have been extremely entertaining, and constantly at least one step ahead of its competitors. This year was no exception.
Second place goes to Sony, if only because XBox 1 sounds like the worst video game console ever created.

P.S. How's progress on 4SM 9?

It' s still in progress. Just having a bit of trouble developing one of the scenes and I am taking my time with it. If it is not ready by july then i will have it out later this year.
