"patience is a virtue that comes with great rewards" thats what my grandfather and my father used to say to me all the time and it really goes with this take your time and those who understand the reasons why it takes so long knows better than anyone. Knowing this fact I know that you will not disappoint us on any way. My flash is taking forever to complete as a matter of fact I am not even half way just because I have really no time on my hands so I understand perfectly what do you mean. There is a saying at home in Puerto Rico that goes somehow like this. "hurrying always come with disaster" take your time make it good cya around

It's still 90% done. I haven't made any progress lately due to life related events (university, exams homework, you get the idea). Like I mentioned in the post, I'll try to have it ready before the end of the year.

I won't make you wait THAT long. 16 months waiting for a flash is just torture.
Can't wait to see Ep. 6, I love this series. It was one of the first series I ever got into when I started watching Flash on Newgrounds. You don't disappoint, even with a long production time. And by the way it sounds, it will come out better than any other episode produced.
Also, when I was reading some of your news posts before, I remember seeing something about complaints about the episode length being too much or too short. It should be longer; more to watch, more to the fit in, more finished in one episode = more accomplishing for the author and more FSMA for the watcher to enjoy, lol. (Even an acronym joke with FMA... If you didn't get the reference, then it has to do with the FMA-themed intro from ep. 4)
Another thing, about the flash sprite decline... I really think it's sad how people have to take something that can be enjoyable and treat it like it's a crime. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just as good as drawn art. It leaves more room for neatness in effects and tidiness with the overall product. I mean, some artists can't draw for crap, and that makes the flash sloppy. Using sprites or your own hand-drawn art is an artist's choice, people shouldn't have the right to criticize that. If you don't like sprite flashes, then don't watch them, and don't judge them for it. Nobody is forcing you to watch them.
I have to say, sprite or hand-drawn flash is still a major accomplishment, especially when done right. I mean, I can't even stand to do a small card flip effect for a birthday card. (Yes, I am a procrastinator and very lazy, with a small attention span. I like to do as little work as possible.) It takes a load of patience and work to finish something with flash, and artists deserve credit if they can do it at all. If you don't like their work, then don't watch. But never, and I mean, never insult them for working their asses off to get it done with sprites or without. People have been using other peoples' stuff for centuries, and there's nothing wrong with it. They give credit, and so do most sprite flash artists. But if you're just going to be prejudice and be a hater, then either pull the log out of your ass that made you decide to do that. Or just plain fuck off. (excuse my language, kinda went off on a rant, there)
Lastly, Hadouken, you shouldn't worry about not time here and there to create a video or time constraints. I could say take all the time you want, but others won't. As long as you continue the series, and continue to provide something for your fans, I'm sure nobody will mind if it takes a while. Even as impatient as I am, I'm always looking forward to a new one and will wait for it. You never disappoint.
That's very encouraging of you to say that. Sadly, not everyone in NG agrees with what you said. Today's Newgrounds is a total mess now, I can't express my opinions without something eventually blowing up in my face. It's hard to deal with it sometimes.
All I want to do is tell a story in my own personal way, even if it means using copyrighted content (who doesn't use them these days?). If some people don't like it, I don't care because I know thousands of users who do. Flash is storytelling, not just animation in an artform. I hope that one of these days somebody will follow my example and make sprite flashes that really are worth watching.
