I'll agree with you on most of these, but I'm gonna have to disagree on Gumball and Regular Show.

Gumball - I like seeing the way different animation styles can come together, and it helps give each character their own distinct personality.

Regular Show - It can be as surreal as Adventure Time, but is much more subtle, surprisingly crude, and a good throw-back to the 80s without referencing anything from the 80s.

One show that should've made the Bad list for sure is MAD. It's a poorly done attempt at parodies for children, but a lot of the jokes are lost because they parody movies that kids may not have seen (see also a Toy Story and Bourne Identity hybrid).

Johnny Test is a show that I don't know where it belongs on your list...it's a hit and miss show. While at times it has some interesting ideas, poor lip syncing, annoying sound effects, and enough cliches make it a little difficult to watch at times.

Just my thoughts on the subject. Vivan las Cartoons!

As for my thoughts on Johnny Test (the one that I forgot to mention), I just think its a recycled and rehashed version of Dexter's Lab with a role reversal and quite possibly the dumbest name for an antagonist: Bling Bling Boy.

I think you may be a little biased since your older now. Your list is pretty spot on but I enjoy chowder and Regular Show, mainly because i dont really have to think, its just mindless and i find it hilarious the stupidity and randomness of the Ideas. Both shows are very original too.

I might disagree with you on some of your thoughts, but I agree that a lot of their shows are terrible recently. I didn't even remember Sheep in the City until you mentioned it here, and I agree that Megas XLR was one of the best, if not THE best cartoon that they had in a long time. As for Billy and Mandy, I kind of liked it, but it didn't exactly feel like a kids show.

Yes of course it has. I still love cartoons and I'm older but anything once it reaches its peak begins its decline. Its just how things work. But I do disagree somehwat with your listing here.

Regular Show somehow reminded me of crappy Adult Swim shows but for kids. Its retardedness gets them ready for adulthood retardedness.

I actually enjoyed Courage the Cowardly dog and The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

What I'm about to say is the most cliched thing of 2012: What the hell is wrong with these kids these days? So much quality and imagination before, now washed off with the opposite and today's lack of education a long with poor taste, they'd think that staring at a dog turd is entertaining. And the next thing you'll see, they start running around with a blank piece of paper thinking that there's something in it (that could be a shut down button to this shitty generation).

Anyways, if 2012 is gonna suck, there's always next year... WITH MORE PRECAUTION.

I have to disagree with some of the bad:

4-Couarage the Cowardly Dog: How can you dislike this show!?!?! That show was my childhood.

5. The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy: Another show I loved, they could be generally funny, but in a weird/disturbing way.

10. Gumball: I actually love the varying art styles, it makes the show more unique.

12. Flapjack: Hey, that show gave me nightmares. Candy was essentially drugs and the super realistic faces made me shit my pants half the time. I wouldn't call the humor braindead, just a little dark.

13. Regular Show: Sometimes it a bit of a hit and a miss but I can't seem to stop watching it. It grows on you.

Here are some shows I absolutely despised:

Ben 10 Alien Force: I kind of liked the first Ben 10. Sure the story was a bit mediocre but their art was very detailed and beutiful. Then they ruined it with Alien Force.... Not only is the art sterile and boring, the story got much, much, MUCH worse. The aliens were cheap versions of cool old ones, and it sounded plain retarded whenever they shouted their names when he transformed.

Teen Titans: Horrible, a cheap attempt at american anime. I loved the WB superhero cartoons, especially Justice League and Batman. This paled in comparison.

Johnny Test: Everything about this show is mediocre. They try to be extreme and rad but come across as obnoxious. Not to mention that the story and animation are all boring with literally nothing unique about them.

"10-The Amazing World of Gumball: This show can't make up it's mind! Can't you focus on one art form instead of combining everything (flash, puppets, CGI, Stop motion) in a random setting? it's the main reason I can't stand it."

It was done on purpose, and that's the one of the things that makes it interesting and good.

I love Adventure Time. It'sa cartoon that kids watch happily, but older generations get some subtle, obviously not meant for children jokes.
Regular Show I like, but I have heard many peoples mixed emotions on this cartoon.
Gumball I didn't like at first, but it caught on to me.
Camp Lazlo I also loved. It's been such a long time since I've watched it. It's more of a tame Rocko, Which was also good, but not meant for kids in any way.

Looney Toons Show is just awful, in my opinion. It took the random 5 minute story lines and murdered it. It was never meant to follow such an organized storyline, and it does not work out at all. The characters don't even have the same personalities.

And AleksandrtheGreat covered my thoughts on Johnny Test. Everything else on your list I either agree on or just didn't want to post my opinion.

It is true, the cartoons have declined greatly in quality these years, but looking at some of the new ones, I am still holding out hope.

i don't know about some of the newer shows but i guess i somewhat agree with your list.

however i absolutely loved courage. though i will admit that they started running out of ideas. (i heard a rumor they're bringing it back this year)

i liked the billy & mandy, but i think they came across the same problem as courage.

I thought gym partner was really boring and just dragged itself through episodes.
I can't stand Johnny Test or The new Looney Tunes.

Having grown up with CN as well, I was happy to see a list of this kind come around. Here's my personal take on all of it.

Disagreeing with what you thought was bad
4-Courage the Cowardly Dog: This show had a rather funny style of art to back up its rather dark, almost creepy humor. I enjoyed this show a LOT as a kid.

5-The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy: Like with Courage, had a funny style to back up its darker, creepier humor. While not every episode was funny, it took opportunity of what it had at just the right times.

9-Chowder: That show was generally random. However, I remember there were quite a few moments of hilarity, though I wouldn't say it never made me cringe now and then.

13-Regular Show: Hit and miss, moreorless. Still lacking most charm, but it's better than some of the other things CN made recently.

Some shows that I really didn't like
Ben 10: Alien Force: As a retro Ben 10 fan, seeing all of this just made me cringe. I personally believe that they sucked the life out of this series. Could never watch it after that.

Young Justice: This show has nothing on Teen Titans. Generally, boring and uninspired.

Anything of CN Real/Level Up: Generally uninspired crap. I don't need to go in-depth with this.

Misadventures of Flapjack: Ugh... The humor was dark, but they failed at it so miserably... I don't think I laughed once during the entire show.

The Amazing World of Gumball: Horrible writing, horrible characters, and horrible just about everything else. I hate this show with my life.

The "I Don't Know" Factor
Johnny Test: EXTREMELY hit and miss. I can never tell which scenarios will play out and how at all. Also, waaay too many "accidental" parodies. That joke got old really quick.

Regular Show: While this show was on my "disagreeing" list, it is truly hit and miss. It's better than Flapjack, but it's still missing the charm.

Sym-bionic Titan: The show was alright and had an interesting concept. However, I could never find myself watching that show. I don't know, but part of me just never got into it.

Teen Titans: Looking back, it was alright, but it really misses the mark. I just never enjoyed after the first times.

Overall: Like mostly everyone here thinks (I hope), old CN was better. However, it still had class up until about 2007/2008. After CN Real, it was only downhill from there.

~Skull

People compared the Regular Show to Beavis and Butt-Head? What in god's name has this world come to?

your opinions are stupid

Whatever...

FINALLY someone agrees with me, but i would have had courage as a good one and adventure time s a bad one

Excuse me, but Courage was GREAT.

True, but I got bored with it over time.
Everyone has their own opinion.

Missing a few things.

Teen Titans-50% hit or miss

Old School Pokemon anime: always awesome!

Present Pokemon: Gets way to out of hand

THE ENTIRE TOONAMI BLOCK: SO MUCH WIN!!!!!!

I was focusing more on Cartoon network originals not anime and superhero programming blocks.

Ah, if only they'd bring back Toonami and the old anime shows.. People would actually watch CN then. Even that Saturday Movie Night thing was better than most of the stuff they show now.

Chowder was pointless.
Flapjack made me cringe.
Gumball... Meh. Nothing new.
CN Real flopped.
Pokemon needs to die.
And of course, who could forget the newest Scooby Doo series? Either show the original series, or let the show die. CN is doing him or the other characters any justice by continuing this series.

And on another note, 4Kids needs to sell off the rights of all their anime and kill the new YuGiOh series. Just saying.

I like about 90% of those you mentioed. If I have to say about CN, almost all of them, who were created last decade, were great. But in this decade is totally opposite. New animation styles with more modern graphics closer to films, made me feel no interest. Then some new animations don't look much different than the old ones and all of the great funny humor is gone. CN is dying, good thing I'm old enough to do better things then watching cartoons.

Whoa guy never seen you post till a long time ago you alright dude cause im worried!

I'm alright, Just had my hands full with personal issues.
