I haven't seen them yet as I've only played through 4 and am playing through umbrella chronicles, but I know someone who owns all the games and has seen the movies many times and agrees that they're a little bad, but I'm sure they're worth watching.

I've seen movies 1-3, played RE2 and Umbrella Chronicles and i think 1 and 2 are worth it while the other 2 movies are just ridiculous!

I think when it comes to film movies based off video games and video games based off film movies, I noticed most of them went down hill and "VERY" downhill, mainly due to the producers don't putting much effort into making film movies based off video games and video games based off film movies, despite this there are exceptions to that rule as I will type in below...

Batman for NES: Perhaps one of the best video games based off an actual film movie I ever played, sure it was frustrating at some points but overall it was highly praised.

Mortal Kombat Film: One of the film movies based off a video game that would ever come close to being very good. The only one problem I see with the Mortal Kombat film is the way it ended and to be honest, the ending should of been very different but still would offer a "cliffhanger part".

The Room Tribute: A flash game by Tom Fulp based on an actual film movie, while I personally never saw the actual film movie itself, playing the flash game alone really made it worth the wild as I noticed it was highly praised.

It seems that if directors ever make film movies based on video games, it should be the kind of directors that should at least play the video games themselves first, or better yet... hire directors that in fact have a obsession for film movies and video games.

For example someone was ever going to make another Double Dragon film it would have to be more similar to the game itself, the storyline would be much more expanded and focused more on the storyline itself throughout the whole film. Of course they would have to make that Double Dragon film Rated R instead of Rated PG-13 since people throughout the game do get beat up with not only fist and kicks but also with knifes, pipes and other weapons found in the game itself and the same should of been said true another film version of Double Dragon.

Another example is what if they actually created a Legend of Zelda film? That film's storyline would be much more expanded as well and Link won't even be silent throughout the whole film unlike in the games.

Last but not least, what if Bad Dudes became a film movie? Chances are it would be the President's hot Daughter they have to save, not the President himself. And further more the storyline would be very focused on the contest itself on saving the President's hot Daughter herself.
